Video kept as-is, lips in sync
The picture is copied bit for bit — never re-encoded, never softened. Only the audio track is replaced, lined up to the sample from the first frame to the last.
Loudness, handled
Land on −16 LUFS for podcasts, −14 for YouTube or −23 for broadcast, with a true-peak limiter so nothing clips. A voice clarity EQ adds presence.

Questions
Are my files uploaded?
Not for cleaning. The noise removal runs inside your browser with WebAssembly, so the files you clean stay on your device — our server only receives the file length and format to check your plan's limits. The only exceptions are ones you choose on a paid plan: storing a file in your library uploads it, and transcribing a library file sends its audio to our speech AI, which keeps nothing.
Will my video quality change?
No. The picture is copied as-is, without re-encoding. Only the audio track is replaced with the cleaned version, kept in sync with the video.
What kind of noise does it remove?
Steady and changing background noise around speech: fans, air conditioning, ventilation, traffic, keyboard clicks and café chatter. It is tuned for voice — it is not designed for music.

Can it make a transcript or captions?
Yes, on a paid plan. Upload a file to your library, or save a cleaned file there, then choose Transcribe and pick the language: 30 languages are supported, or it can detect the language. You get plain text, text with timestamps that jump to the moment on YouTube, .srt and .vtt captions, and suggested YouTube chapters. The file's audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our speech AI, which keeps nothing, and we don't store the transcript, so copy or download it. Transcription has its own monthly hours, separate from cleaning. Transcripts can contain mistakes: check them before you publish.
Why do I need an internet connection?
Each job is authorised online (only metadata is sent) so the free limits work fairly. The cleaning itself happens offline-style on your device.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop are fully supported; Safari works for most files. Very long recordings need free disk space, because your browser keeps its working copy in its own storage on your device. Private windows can only handle smaller files.
