For voice actors and narrators
Voice-over noise removal
Clean voice-over takes recorded at home and get a WAV back that lines up with your session.
Cleaned on your own device — the file is never uploaded.
The problem
What gets in the way
A home booth can’t block everything. The computer in the corner, the air conditioning or a passing bus end up in the take, and a client hears it the moment music or picture is added.
- The computer recording the session
- Air conditioning and heating
- Traffic and neighbours
- Preamp hiss at high gain
What you get
A clean voice, ready to use
- Background noise removed, the voice’s tone kept
- A WAV at your session’s sample rate and bit depth
- The same length and timing, so it drops back onto your timeline
- Loudness left alone, or set to a broadcast target
How it works
Four steps, one clean file
Step 1: Pick your settings
Set Loudness to Off to keep your recorded level and set Output format to WAV.
Step 2: Drop the take
Drop the WAV (or FLAC) take straight from your recording app.
Step 3: Let it clean
Your browser cleans the take on your own computer and it is never uploaded. The first file takes a little longer while our speech AI loads.
Step 4: Compare and keep it
The clean take downloads by itself when it is ready. Play the A/B preview to switch between original and cleaned at the same moment, or change a setting and choose Download again.
For this recording
Recommended settings
- Loudness
- Off
- Output format
- WAV
Off keeps your level for mixing (peaks are still held under −1 dBTP). Use Broadcast (−23 LUFS) if the brief asks for it.
Set them in the tool before you add the file: they are used for the automatic download, and you can change them afterwards and download again.
Good to know
- Echo and room reverb stay as recorded: it removes noise, not the sound of the room.
- Mouth clicks and breaths are part of the voice and are kept.
Formats & limits
What goes in, what comes out
- WAV
- FLAC
- MP3
- M4A
WAV at the source sample rate (up to 48 kHz) and bit depth; mono stays mono.
- WAV keeps the sample rate (up to 48 kHz), bit depth and channel count; a stereo file comes back with the voice in both channels.

FAQ
Common questions
Will the clean take line up with my session?
Yes. The processing delay is compensated, so the WAV has the same length and every word sits at the same sample as the original take.
Does it change the tone of my voice?
Slightly: a light voice clarity EQ is always applied. It trims rumble and boxiness and adds presence, so a dull or boxy mic sounds clearer.
Can it fix a boomy, echoey room?
No. It removes noise, not reflections, so treat the room or record closer to the mic for that.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The cleaning runs inside your browser, on your own computer. Your audio and video never leave your device; our server only receives the file’s length and format to check your allowance.
Is it free?
A free account cleans 30 minutes a month, no card needed. The paid plans, Creator (9 hours), Pro (30 hours) and Studio (100 hours) a month, take files up to 3 hours and 4 GB each. See the pricing page for details.
